A common theme in my ventures is snowflakes – no two are alike.

Each music performance and demonstration is different; each landscape (corporate or private) is unique; and especially in crochet no two pieces are identical nor are they repeated. Each creation is unique and one of a kind.

MUSIC

I typically perform on piano, guitar and vocals for private parties, night clubs, banquets, and special events. I am happy to use your piano or I can bring my electric. I enjoy giving music demonstrations on piano, band and orchestra instruments.

Now with COVID, banquets, events, parties and even weddings are pretty much cancelled. I hope to be performing more in the future.

LANDSCAPING

I am currently building two more parks, one a ‘drive and/or walk through’ in Tilleda, WI, and one a privately owned ‘walk through’ in Madison, WI. Both are available for public tour at any time.

I am doing only limited private landscaping with my current customer base right now due to my involvement in the park projects. I am still available for consultations.

CROCHET

My crochet art is original. I do not do “paint by number/use other peoples patterns” and just copy someone else’s pattern – anyone can do that. Typically my pieces are one of a kind. I rarely repeat a piece except by special request. Each piece is unique in some way – my own patterns and stitches, size, color, hook size, trims and edging, etc. I have on rare occasion (actually only once) made a specifically requested pattern, but will still suggest certain changes and tweaks.

I currently donate pretty much everything I make to hospitals, churches, schools and organizations. The best way to experience my pieces is at a Crochet Show, or when I participate in a Craft Show.

I enjoy doing classes, especially beginning classes, demonstrations, and crochet shows. Hopefully, after Covid, these can eventually resume.

I do have many custom design pieces, especially with filet crochet. Popular items include wedding cloths,  family tree table cloths, and specialty cloths, (church cloth and others).

The family tree table dressings are as popular as they are unique.

In taking orders, for example, people will give suggestions to me; “my baby theme room is ‘Pandas’ – what could you make?”, or “my Grandparents would like an afghan for their living room couch and their favorite colors are green and blue – any ideas?”, or “my wife wants an elegant shawl for the symphony concerts. – any ideas?” I invite you to cruise the photo gallery and let your mind come up with something creative!
